Charman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Moroz considers that the President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will not venture to veto the draft law on state budget 2007. He told Wednesday at the meeting with chairmen of Crimean VR and regional city councils.

According to Moroz, all President’s propositions submitted for the budget bill’s first reading have been taken into account. Moroz considers that “the budget bill will be passed in time, and President’s approval will prove stability in actions of the power.”

The speaker also noted that for the first time a new system of relations functions between the parliament and the government. “Both the parliament and the government are working on the budget, as they are not opponents but mutually dependent structures of the power,” Moroz underlined.

The speaker also said that this budget is not perfect, because “there are no perfect budgets”, but it much better than budgets for 2005 and 2006.
