Combined teams from 20 countries took part in the competitions in Tehran, in particular, combined teams of Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Lithuania, the Czech Republic and Hungary, Cabinet press office reported.
The world championship participants competed in 5 disciplines: ascending by scaling-ladder, overcoming 100-meter line with obstacles, fire-rescuing relay-race, battle deployment and double-event.
The international exhibition of fire-technical equipment and rescue means "WORLD FIRE-2006" will take place within the frames of 3rd open world championship among firemen and rescuers.
