Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych is not satisfied with that the President vetoed a draft bill on changes to the law “On economic organizations.”

“President’s decision to veto this law does not meet national interests. The parliament passed this law, which is very important for the country, and we delivered it to the President,” Yanukovych said.

He noted that 117 enterprises, 50% stock of which belong to the state, are being controlled by anyone but the state. “As a result, state interests are not protected. There is no such practice in any country of the world. Is it a national approach? Is it right position of the President?” Yanukovych expressed his indignation.

He underscored that the government considers the President decision very negative and called the head of the state to comment on his position in public and to explain why he (Yushchenko – ed.) does not defend national interests.
