Vice-Premier Andriy Klyuyev considers that the Cabinet of Ukraine should renew privatisation of energy generating and energy supplying company.
“I am supporter of private property. These objects must be privatised. It goes without questions that it must be done according to the rules,” said Vice-PM Klyuyev at a press conference.
He stressed that a privatisation of the energy generating companies will attract significant investments needed for reconstruction of thermal energy funds.
However, he opposes the State Property Fund’s proposal to sell power suppliers’ shareholding initially divided into small packets. In his opinion, Ukrenergo must remain state-owned company.
