Addressing the deputies in the parliament PM of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych asked them to consider dismissal of two orange ministers and to let other two ones to preserve their working posts. Yanukovych supported dismissal of Justice Minister Roman Zvarych and Culture Minister Ihor Lykhovy.

Instead, the PM submitted candidatures of Yuri Bogutsky for the post of Culture Minister and Oleksandr Lavrynovych for the post of Justice Minister.

The parliament supported resignation of Ihor Lykhovy by 246 votes, and resignation of Zvarych by 247 votes.

Commenting on ministers’ dismissal, Yanukovych noted he had no complaints against these ministers during their work in the government, and that it was “comfortable” to work with them.

“I sympathize with them as they were simply exposed,” the Premier said.
