Andriy Khalpakhchi, Molodist Film Fest Director General, has resigned. He reasons of such decision he explained to radio Svoboda: “I am tired struggling for the high level of the fest conduct. But I do not leave the Fest for good. I will be involved in creative work as our successors are grown-up enough to handle with the Fest’s financial issues.”
Molodist Film Fest has launched working on October 21in Kyiv and will last all this week.
As he also informed the Ministry of Culture which usually covered one third of the Fest’s expenses has underpaid about a half of the scheduled allotment this year. Khalpakhchi stressed that he does not any financial complaints against the Ministry.
