
The parliaments of the Great Britain, Spain, Lithuania, Portugal and France point out the good prospects of the EU-Ukraine cooperation within the aircraft construction.
Such opinion was voiced at a recent out session of the Western European Union Assembly Department on Technics, Aviation and Space, Antonov’s Aviation Scientific-Technical Complex press office reported.
The main topics of the session’s agenda were the issues related to the final validation and EASA certification of Ruslans exploited in Europe, and Antonov’s initiative concerning the Operative Response to the Emergency Situations Program implementation using An-32P, a light transport fire plane. The great attention was paid to the An-148, An-140 and An-38 projects with European participation in it.
“I have seen the great prospects of cooperation with Ukraine and I will note it in my report, that I am a supporter of this cooperation,” said Britain MP Bill Etherington at the session.
