DENA (Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH), Ukraine’s Industrials and Entrepreneurs Union and Ukraine’s National Agency on Efficiently Energy Resources Usage inked an Agreement on Cooperation within the Energy Effectiveness Sphere.
The document provides for collaboration in working out of legislative bills, necessary for energy effectiveness, in realisation of pilot projects in Ukraine and usage of the restoration energy sources in Ukraine's economy.
The parties agreed to cooperate and exchange experience in activities related to the energy saving technologies. It is supposed to consolidate relations between Ukrainian and German enterprises.
The agreement is a “powerful step towards the formation of the systematic and professional conditions aimed at strengthening of Ukraine’s national energy safety including the energy effectiveness as its integral unit,” ex-Chairman of the National Security and Defence Council of Ukraine Anatoly Kinakh stated at a briefing.
