The President of Ukraine tries to impose priorities of
the minority on the Ukrainian people, Party of Regions member Evhen Kushnaryov commented
on the recent march of UPA and the President’s decree on recognition of OUN OPA
participants as veterans of WWII during the online conference at ForUm.
“I cannot explain President’s actions by anything but a try to impose priorities of minority part of Ukraine on the whole people,” the deputy declared.
In particular, Kushnaryov underlined: “Issue of warriors of OUN-UPA worries citizens of Galichina and Volyn region. It makes only 12-15% of the Ukrainian people. It is obvious that this subject intensifies the split in Ukrainian society.”
“I cannot understand who such actions can unite Ukrainian nation,” the deputy summed up.
