A two-day Ukrainian - French energy forum into diversification of fuel sources, energy use and energy efficacy in Ukraine opened in Kyiv on Wednesday, "Cabinet’s press office" reported.
The event was initiated by the French Agency for International Entrepreneurial Development and the French Embassy in Ukraine. The forum is being attended by staffers of the Presidential Secretariat, Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Ministry of Coal Industry, Ministry of Natural Environment protection and EnergoAtom and NaftoGaz regional operators.
The forum is supposed to result in an agreement, which would promote implementation of the Kyoto Protocol.
