The record high sum of 9.5 bn UAH will be allocated for construction of new roads in Ukraine in 2007, First Deputy Transportation and Communication Minister Volodymyr Korniyenko told governmental hot telephone line callers on Tuesday, Cabinet’s press office reported.
In the official's opinion, there are roads in Ukraine, which are rather safe and capable for speedy traffic. According to him, the highways Chop - Kyiv, Kharkiv - Kyiv, Rivne - Kyiv and Kovel - Kyiv are supposed to be reconstructed in 2007.
