Secretariat of Ukraine’s President has finished preparation of the Yushchenko’s decree on rehabilitation of participants of Ukrainian insurgent army, who were fighting against soviet army during Great Patriotic War, as President’s advisor Taras Stetskiv told Friday.
“This decree has not been signed yet, that’s why I cannot talk about its constituents, but it will be ink,” he promised.
“It is President’s obligation to recognize OUN-UPA warriors as fighters for independence,” he added.
At the same time, Stetskiv refused to forecast whether the parliament would vote for granting the same privileges to OUN-UPA participants, as to veterans of Great Patriotic War.
“It is well known, that these deputies carry out certain requests,” the advisor explained.
