October 12-13 chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of
Ukraine Oleksandr Moroz is paying a two-day official visit to the Russian
Federation. It is his first foreign official visit on the post of the VR
speaker.
The agenda includes meetings with leading Russian politicians. The main subject of the talks is inter-Parliamentary and economic constituents of bilateral cooperation. On negotiations with governing body of Russian Parliament the matter will concern stirring up of inter-Parliamentary relations with the framework of inter-Parliamentary commission on cooperation between the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Federal Assembly of the RF, deputies’ groups of friendship, as well as at the level of contacts between factions and deputies of Ukraine and Russia.
Moroz may also meet with Russia’s President Vladimir Putin.
