Victor Yushchenko mourns investigative reporter Anna Politkovskaya who was shot dead last Saturday in Moscow, President'spress office reported.
The President believes Russia’s authorities must spare no effort to thoroughly investigate this “attack on freedom of speech” and punish the perpetrators.
“In Ukraine, we will always remember Anna Politkovskaya as an honest and courageous journalist committed to the ideas of justice and the protection of human rights,” he said.
