Foreign Minister of Ukraine Borys Tarasyuk represented the Ukrainian party and the Lithuanian side was represented by Foreign Minister of Lithuania Petras Vaitiekunas.
The joint statement says that Lithuania intends to render thorough support, help and assistance to Ukraine in fulfillment of Ukraine-EU Action Plan.
The statement provides for joint projects on cooperation in social policy and rights of agricultural workers, as well as improvement of infrastructure of the agricultural complex and raising the level of farmers’ skill.
Additionally, the statement provides for cooperation in the sphere of preparation of national legislation, in particular regulating procedure of insurance, and putting it in correspondence with EU norms.
“The statement includes ten items, which Lithuania and Ukraine will follow. We are ready to share experience with Ukraine in Eurointegration,” Lithuanian Foreign Minister said.
