Rogan, an industrial zone of Kharkiv Region, may attract Armenian businessmen, Armenian Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Ukraine Armen Khachatryan stated at a meeting with Kharkiv Governor Arsen Avakov.
Ukrainian-Armenian turnover is $7.2 million in the first half of 2006. In particular, Kharkiv enterprises export cosmetics, foodstuffs, dairy products and meds.
As a reminder, Kharkiv industrial zone attracting Italian investment was announced in 1995. A corresponding protocol was inked by Kharkiv Regional State Administration and the Industrial Activity Ministry of Italy.
Later on, Ahlers Logistic and Maritime Services, a Belgian Company, had plans to implement investment project to construct stores and offices buildings there. The project cost ?5-7 million. NIC Piccard has recently demonstrated its interest in this project.
