October 16, the Our Ukraine Party will hold a meeting for the purpose to address a plan of activity in the opposition, Roman Bezsmertny informed.
“We will be a system opposition which votes and backs questions containing kernel of the good sense,” the OU press service quoted his words.
In response to the question whether his political force will cooperate with BYuT, the OU leader said: “We have propounded to form a confederation ‘European Ukraine.’ It is a form whichmay work both sides – in parliament and outside of it. Our opposite position does not predict that we are fall on Tymoshenko’s neck today.”
He also did not rule out that certain mechanisms of cooperation might be worked out: “formation of the shadow government or joint work on that or these draft bills.”
Focusing on the explanation of “confederation” notion, the politician outlines it is a form providing for consolidated position of parties and public organisations in order to create real mechanism of their coordination. He has confessed that giving birth to the idea of confederation, he recalled firstly “the parties’ club of 2001 format.” He voiced an opinion, that Ukrainian People’s Party and Reforms and Order Party suit such format.
