As the Cabinet’s press office reported, on October 4 and 5 Defense Minister Anatoly Hrytsenko is leading the Ukrainian official delegation to the 3d round of Ukraine - NATO consultations at the level of defense ministers in the Portuguese town Sintra.
The consultations are supposed to tackle aid to Ukraine in reforming its defense-security sector.
The delegation includes NSDC acting Secretary Volodymyr Horbulin, NSDC Deputy Secretary, Co-Chairperson of the Mixed High-Level Working Group for the military reform Serhiy Pyrozhkov, Chairman of the VR Committee for national security and defense Anatoliy Kinakh, Deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Khandohiy, Deputy Head of Ukraine's Mission to NATO for defense-related matters Gen of Army Volodymyr Shkidchenko, other officials.
The parties are expected to sign a document on launching a Ukraine - NATO partnership network for making the Ukrainian public better informed about NATO.
Anatoly Hrytsenko is expected to hold a meeting with his Portuguese colleague Nuno Severiano Teixeira to discuss Ukrainian - Portuguese military cooperation matters.
