A wide range of bilateral relations in the economic domain between Ukraine and the European Union was discussed in Brussels on Monday during a regular sitting of Second Sub-Committee "Economic and Social Affairs, Finances and Statistics" of the Ukraine - EU Cooperation Committee, sources with the Ukrainian Representation to the EU told, Cabinet's press office reported.

The Ukrainian delegation was headed by Deputy Economics Minister Valeriy Piatnytsky and the EU delegation was led by division chief of the European Commission's Economics and Finances DG Jose Leandro.

The session's agenda included Ukraine's implementing the Ukraine - EU Action Plan and the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement, macroeconomic developments in Ukraine and payment balance in the context of current trends in trade between Ukraine and the EU. The parties exchanged opinions on the monetary policies and the exchange cross-course, fiscal policies, budgetary-related issues and many others.
