Victor Yushchenko has met with Mikhail Fridman, Chairman of the Alfa Group Supervisory Board of Directors.
They discussed plans of the Alfa GroupConsortium to open its affiliates in our country and cooperate with the National Bank of Ukraine. They also spoke about humanitarian issues, particularly the Art Arsenal museum project, which is being carried out under President Yushchenko’s patronage.
Mr. Fridman, one of Russia's wealthiest oil and telecommunications tycoons, was born in the city of Lviv and so they also discussed this week's celebrations of the 750th anniversary of Ukraine’s western capital.
