The Ukrainian Finance Ministry means to increase budgetary expenditures for development of health care system in 2007 by 18.9 percent up to 20.1 bn. UAH (one USD=5.05 UAH), First Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister Mykola Azarov said, Cabinet's press office reported.
Among the priority issues, which the budgetary funds are to settle in the health care system, Mr Azarov named revision of medicines' purchase and setting indicative prices for these, approval of treatment standards, provision and equipment of hospitals with necessary devices and diagnosis gear.
According to Azarov, the Government means to launch a large-scale reformation of the health care system in 2008, and 2007 will be the year of preparing the branch to the reformation.
