
Topical problems of international cooperation in space exploration were discussed at the 6th Ukrainian conference into space-related matters, hosted in Yevpatoria, Crimea and attended by over 120 researchers, scientists and experts from Ukraine, Russia, the USA, Belarus and Poland.
The participants discussed, in particular, problems of creating a national system for acquisition of space data as part of the GEOSS, prospects of Ukrainian researchers' participation in international space programs, such as lunar probes, the Phobos-Soil, RadioAstron, Exploration projects.
The conference approved guidelines of the National Space Program of Ukraine for 2007 - 2011, which will underlie the Concept of Ukraine's space activities through 2020.
