Germans seem to be the one of the greatest Euro-optimists, Deutshce Welle in Ukraine says. Such statement has been made by Bertelsmann Foundation expert which hold regular public opinion polls regarding the Euro-integration issues.
According to the recent data, there is the greatest number of citizens among Germans who reckon further extension of the EU quite possible. German index is the highest in the EU. 45% of Germans suppose Ukraine may achieve full member status by 2020. But only one in three Europeans, however, believe that Turkey or Ukraine will be among the new members, Bertelsmann Foundation reports.
10,000 respondents have been interviewed by the experts.
