Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Volodymyr Khandohiy and Moldovan Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration Eugenia Kistruga hold interministerial consultations, discussing bilateral relations and cooperation in Transdniestrian settlement, Cabinet’s press service reported.

The delegations noted high level of development of Ukrainian - Moldovan relations in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, as well as collaboration within UN and other international and regional organizations, including GUAM.

The parties stressed reciprocal interest in deepening transborder cooperation with the framework of the European Union.

Participants of the consultations also focused on an upcoming visit of Ukraine’s President Viktor Yushchenko to Moldova.
