BYuT leader Yulia Tymoshenko declares that her bloc will not vote for the draft budget-2007, worked out by the Cabinet of Victor Yanukovych.

Speaking in the Rada, Tymoshenko informed that BYuT deputies had registered a draft parliamentary resolution, which provides for revision of the draft budget.

Tymoshenko considers that if the coalition manages to collect necessary number of votes for the draft budget despite BYuT’s protests, the President must use his right and veto the document.

Criticizing the draft budget-2007, BYuT leader stated that the document does not provide for any social guarantees to veterans, return of citizens’ deposits and pension increase. Tymoshenko numbered 20 points, “which BYuT strongly disagrees with.”

As a reminder, on Tuesday, September 19, joint deliberations were held in the Parliament, which involved Speaker Oleksandr Moroz, First Vice Premier / Finance Minister Mykola Azarov, leaders of parliamentary factions, ministerial officials and VR committee chairpersons.

The attendants discussed the 2007 budget bill.
