According
to Dmytro Moroz, chief expert with the State Veterinary Medicine Department,
the Agrarian Policy Ministry will initiate a ban on fowling for the period of
the autumnal bird migration, with a view of preventing a bird flu epidemic in
Ukraine.
This issue,
Dmytro Moroz said, will be addressed at a session of the State Extraordinary
Epizootic Commission.
