Poland’s Consulate may be opened in Vinnitsa

Mayor Vinnitsa initiates establishment of Poland’s Consulate in town, the Vinnitsa City Council press office informed. The new diplomatic institution is to serve for needs of Zhytomyr, Vinnitsa, Khmelnitsky and Chernivtsy regions.

Mayor Groisman has made an official proposal to Pole diplomats accredited in Ukraine. Earlier, Pole delegation headed by Poland’s Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkowski visited Vinnitsa and held preliminary negotiations with the local authorities.

Vinnitsa City Council considers possibilities to hold negotiations with German, Russian and Lithuanian diplomats on the same issue – opening their representative offices in Vinnitsa.
