The Cabinet intends to limit conditions for the baby-birth aid, Deputy Finance Minister Serhiy Rybak said on Monday at a press conference.

In accordance with new conditions, if family average monthly income for the last six months before baby birth makes over $1000, the family will not be granted the aid ($1,700). If a family consists of three or four nonworking persons, the threshold will be over $1,200 and $1,400 correspondingly.

The amount of the aid will not be changed, Rybak stated.

Such actions included in Budget-2007 are aimed at protecting the very socially unprotected spheres of population, Rybak ensured.
