The World Bank considers prospects of to launch several projects in Ukraine with $700 million of total amount. WB Representative in Ukraine Dushan Vuyovich revealed it on Tuesday at a press conference.

Among the priority projects, Vuyovich called water supply projects, electroenergetics, two environmental projects, Kyiv central heating, court system reformation of Ukraine and others.

According to Mr Vuyovich’s words, since 1992 in Ukraine the WB has approved of credits in the total amount of $4.6 milliard. $3.2 milliard out of this sum has been spent, $1 milliard has not been allotted yet, and the rest of the sum is suspended or terminated projects. 85% of the total number of credits made structural credits and 15% investment ones.

By WB experts’ calculations, Ukraine’s GDP growth will make 5.5% and the inflation – less than 5%.

Mr Vuyovich stressed that current low level of the state debt against the Ukraine’s GDP makes appropriate for the country to actively attract new WB credits for purposes of the structural reforms implementation.
