Ukrzaliznytsa and Russian Railroads settled the transporttion problem

September 6, Ukrzalyznytsa Chief Volodymyr Kozak and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Yakunin held a meeting.

In the course of the talks, the two Railroad Administrations' CEOs reached an agreement on unimpeded rail traffic across the Ukraine-Russia border. Any problems, which may emerge, will be jointly settled by the Ukrzalyznytsa and the Russian Railroads, Messrs Kozak and Yakunin noted.

The meeting was held in Moscow within the framework of a session of the Transportation Sub commission of the Yushchenko-Putin Commission, the Cabinet press office reports.

Volodymyr Kozak and Vladimir Yakunin also discussed the problem of restoring rail communication between Ukraine and Moldova, as well as matters of technical - technological cooperation between the two Railroad Administrations.
