The VR Chairman Oleksandr Moroz considers the idea to build a deputy-city in Koncha-Zaspa (Kyiv suburb) at the cost of $50-60 million.
According to Moroz, Koncha-Zaspa building lot was obtained for the Verkhovna Rada long time ago, there were several cottages.
He emphasised that the sum for such project is less than the apartments or hotels for the MPs. The peoples’ deputies will live there only during the term of their parliamentarian service. Moroz also stated that the project would be preliminary thoroughly examined by the MPs. He expressed confidence that the MPs would be against such initiative.
