Angela Merkel, the first woman to become chancellor of Germany, heads the Forbes list of the 100 Most Powerful Women.

Previous times Merkel was not included in the list at all, but this year she has displaced Condoleezza Rice and put her on the second place.

Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko, who was in Top Three of the last year’s list, failed to be included in the rating this year.
