Simferopol mayor Gennady Babenko will address Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine to solve the most urgent financial problems of the Crimea capital.

According to the mayor, Simferopol has certain problems in this financial year. “City budget’s lack of means to pay salaries to budgetary workers makes 27.7 mln hryvnias; 20.9 mln hryvnias are needed to pay for energy carriers,” he noted.

Additionally, Babenko worries over the process of formation of Ukraine’s state budget for 2007. “This year withdrawals from the city treasury to the state budget makes 18 mln UAH, but the next year the sum is supposed to make 54 mln,” he underlined.

Speaking about development of Simferopol, Babenko noted that the city needs 400 mln hryvnias for projecting and building of the by pass road and 20 mln for reconstruction of Pobeda avenue.

According to vice PM of Ukraine in Crimea council of ministers Volodymyr Rybak, the Cabinet intends to render financial assistance for accomplishment of Crimean capital.
