As the colony’s chief Samvel Nazaryan told journalists, it is the first play staged by prisoners for the last 25 years. The staff of the theatre numbers seven people, young men of 20-26 years old. They have worked out scenario and staging, distributed roles.
The play is about typical unfortunate family, in which father-alcoholic beats mother, and son has to leave the family. Falling under influence of criminals, he and his girl-friend appear in difficult situation. Further fate of the heroes is unknown. Prisoners were offered to work out the end of the play on a competitive basis.
