Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleksandr Moroz supports the idea to build railway track “Kyiv-Vienna” for intensification of contacts between Ukraine and Austria and notes he will to make every effort to realize it.

Press office of the VR reports that Moroz is meeting with president of Austrian-Ukrainian community Rudolf Edlinger.

The president of the community noted that “the contacts between citizens of both countries are very important.” According to him, the community he heads numbers more than 12 thousand Ukrainians. To his opinion, one of the means to improve contacts between Austria and Ukraine is construction of “Kyiv-Vienna” railway line.

In the course of the meeting, Ukraine’s Speaker called Austrian parliament an example of democracy in the world. He also pointed out importance of multilateral relations between the Austrian and Ukrainian peoples.
