Victor Yushchenko has returned to Kyiv to take part in celebration of the fifteenth anniversary of Ukraine’s independence.
In Kyiv’s Boryspil Airport, the Head of State met with
Emergencies Minister Viktor Baloha to discuss last hour’s crash of a Russian
passenger plane near the village of Sukha Balka in Donetsk region. The minister
told him they had immediately sent a group of rescuers to the scene to deal with
the aftermath of the tragedy and quickly identify bodies.
Baloha added
they were helping their Russian colleagues.
