Ukrainian frontier guard together with officials of Security Service of
Ukraine have detained three Russian automobiles with smuggling 500 units of fire-arms
and more than a ton of caviar.
Three cars registered in the Russian Federation tried to bring in Ukraine 229 air rifles, 270 air pistols, more than 212.7 thousand bullets, 40 handcuffs and 1.2 thousand kilos of caviar.
Ukrainian frontier guards received information about illegal import of guns and caviar and put masked troops. During the detaining of the first car, drivers of the rest two ones left their cars and managed to escape back on the territory of Russia.
Officials of State frontier guard conduct search of the escaped smuggler. Materials of this case have been delivered to Security Service of Ukraine.
