Ukraine’s President: Ukraine is respected in the world
Cancellation of visa regime by Ukraine for a number of
countries led to considerable increase of visits of foreign tourists, Ukraine’s
President declared speaking on the World Forum of Ukrainians. He noted that
Ukraine carries out “one of the most democratic and liberal migration policies.”
The President reminded that Ukraine had cancelled
visas for citizens of the European Union, the United States, Canada, Japan.
“We’ve got two
times more visits for the last 12 months than for the previous years. It means that
Ukraine becomes more open, and the world talks about Ukraine more respectfully,”
Yushchenko said.
