He noted that gas issue was one of the main subjects of the meeting with the Ukrainian Premier.
Fradkov confirmed that Russia proceeded from agreements, concluded between the two sides on January of this year. He pointed out that only few days left to make contracts of gas supply till the end of this year and for the next year. Fradkov also expressed anxiety about level of gas pumping in Ukraine’s underground storages.
In his turn, the Ukrainian PM informed that they parties discussed gas price issue. According to him, the sides agreed to form prices on the market basis. Yanukovich said they approximately determined parameters of prices, but refused to specify them.
