Nigeria rebels, who seized Ukrainian
sailors hostage, agree to release them if Ukraine pays one million dollars.
As official of Ukraine’s embassy in Nigeria Victor Duma reported, “kidnappers refused from social aid and demanded to pay $1 million.”
“It was a surprise for us, as we thought our sailors would be released any day, and we would be able to send them home,” the official noted.
Victor Duma specified that Nigerian company is holding negotiations with kidnappers to reduce sum of ransom.
