Victor Yushchenko and Ukraine’s Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych met yesterday to discuss the current economic situation and the formation of local governments, President's press office reported.
They also spoke about the Premier’s forthcoming visit to Sochi (Russia) scheduled for Tuesday. Yanukovych is going to hold talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss economic and energy cooperation between the two countries. The Prime Minister will also take part in an informal summit of the Eurasian Economic Community.
It is the fisrt foreign visit of Yanukovich on the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine. Yushchenko and Yanukovych agreed to meet after this visit.
