Kyiv Medical institutions to be granted one mln USD aid from Korea

President Viktor Yushchenko signed a bill "On Ratification of an Agreement between Governments of Ukraine and Korea" on launch of the project of creation of the UkrTVMedical network of Kyiv, approved by the Verkhovna Rada on July 28.

The agreement envisages granting a one million USD aid for four Kyiv medical institutions. The money is predetermined for construction and reconstruction of buildings, acquisition of medical equipment and academic exchanges of medical students and experts.

In accordance with the document, all the granted equipment will be tax free, Cabinet's press office reported.
