Ukraine banned import of meet from Brasil and Croatia

Due to an outbreak of the Newcastle disease in Brazil's Rio Grande do Sul state, Ukraine has imposed a ban on importing poultry meat from that Latin American nation, the State Veterinary Medicine Department told.

Additionally, Ukraine has banned imports of pork from Croatia as in the province of Vukovarsko-Strijemska an outbreak of pig plague has been registered.

A circular message about the ban has been sent to relevant Ukrainian ministries.
