Organizers of the action devoted to creation of a medical and social center for homeless children held an auction where dolls from Ukrainian famous people were sold. The most expensive lots were toys from Yulia Tymoshenko and Kateryna Yushchenko. They were bought at 19 and 13 thousand euros.
As a whole, dolls from politicians were more popular than those from stars of show business. Some dolls from Ukrainian singers were not sold immediately. About dozen lots were bought wholesale after the auction.
All money collected is meant for children, who live in streets. Organizers of the action calculated that it is needed about 50 thousand dollars to build a medical and social center for homeless children.
