Victor Yushchenko met with Russian Ambassador to Ukraine Viktor Chernomyrdin to discuss bilateral relations, Presient's press office reported.
Yushchenko reiterated that Ukraine appreciated it friendly relations with Russia, our country’s strategic partner. They also spoke about the current parliamentary crisis in Ukraine.
Then they discussed the President’s participation in this week’s informal summit of CIS heads of state in Moscow. Yushchenko was invited to visit it but his final decision to attend the meeting will depend on political circumstances.
