A group of European experts, led by a member of the European Parliament
Marek Siwiec, predicted Ukraine's accession to the European Union in 2020, Ukrainian radio reported.
As the experts said in their report, if the situation is favorable, an agreement between Ukraine and the EU on associated membership will take effect in 2008. According to them, in 2010 - 2011 Ukraine will have to draft a strategy of its accession to the EU, where it will set profound reforms to implement to become a candidate first, and then a member of the EU.
