Results of public poll conducted by the Center of
social researches “Sofia” state that in case of early presidential election in Ukraine
Victor Yanukovich would win more votes than Victor Yushchenko and Yulia
Tymoshenko combined.
According to the poll, if the elections took place within the next week, 36.2% of respondents would vote for Victor Yanukovich, 20.1 % - for Yulia Tymoshenko and 14.4% - for Victor Yushchenko.
In case of early parliamentary election 37.1% of respondents would vote for Party of Regions, 22.3% - for Bloc of Yulia Tymoshenko, 11.3% - for Our Ukraine. Socialists and communists would win approximately 5.5% each.
The poll was conducted on July 3-11; 2022 people from all regions of Ukraine were questioned.
