Ukraine will support Russia’s aspirations for joining the
World Trade Organization
in every way, as Ukraine’s Economy Minister Arceny
Yatsenyuk told BBC.
At the same time, Yatsenyuk noted that least of all he was interested in the queue of accession to the organization by the two states (Ukraine and Russia – ed.).
“Least of all I am interested in when Russia will enter the WTO. I am interested in Russia’s accession itself, and we will support Russia’s efforts in every way,” he said.
Ukraine’s Economy Minister underlined once again that in case of absence of progress in negotiations with Kyrgyzstan over Ukraine’s WTO membership, Ukraine would ask the majority in the WTO working group to vote for Ukraine’s accession without taking Bishkek’s opinion into consideration.
