Leader of Party of Regions Victor Yanukovich stands
against dismissal of the parliament and hopes that Ukraine’s President will nominate
his candidature for the post of Prime Minister of Ukraine during 15 days.
“I think the President will use the constitutional term – 15 days. And judging from the formation of the orange coalition, I think there will be a delay,” Yanukovich said in an interview to the Russian newspaper “Novy izvestia”.
Yanukovich also underlined that his party treated possible dismissal of the parliament negatively. “The issue on dismissal of the parliament worries the whole society, but not only deputies. It is possible to draw a conclusion that people are tired of confrontations. We are not supporters of the dismissal. We want the Verkhovna Rada to work,” Yanukovich stated.
