Victor Yushchenko met with Alexander Kwasniewski, ex-President of Poland, President's press ofice reported.
They discussed the current political situation in Ukraine. Mr. Yushchenko assured his former colleague the country's foreign course, which was supported by the people in 2004, would not change. The President said he reiterated this belief at his meetings with Ukraine's party leaders.
Then he spelled out his plan to settle the parliamentary crisis and promised he would spare no effort to make politicians start a political dialogue.
Poland's Ambassador to Ukraine Jacek Kluczkovski was present at the meeting.
